Yes — install and record forever, on-device, no account and no card. We monetize automation, team features, and enterprise deployment, not the core act of recording your own voice.
Does my audio ever leave my device?
No. Recording, transcription, and summarization all run locally. The cloud is only touched by things you explicitly turn on — like emailing a summary or reading your calendar. Otherwise: 0 bytes uploaded.
Can I use my own voice model?
On Pro and up, yes. Point Vlocalhost at any Whisper model, a local model folder, or a custom engine. No lock-in, no vendor model forced on you.
How does pricing change as you add features?
Solo always keeps install-and-record. New automation lands in Pro, collaboration in Team, and compliance in Enterprise. We won't move a shipped free feature behind a paywall.
Do you offer discounts?
Annual billing saves ~25%. Nonprofit, education, and early-stage startup discounts are available on request — reach out.
No bot joins the call — how?
Vlocalhost captures your device audio locally. Nothing joins the meeting, nobody has to admit a bot, and external attendees never see a notetaker in the room.
